Meeting Rooms
Community Room
The library’s community room is available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. It is commonly used for community groups, parties, and other meetings. The room seats about 20-30 people. It can be used even when the main library is closed using a custom door code, which allows access to the room, hallway, and bathrooms.
Rules:
- The room is free to use, but clean up after yourself – a fee will be charged for any needed cleanup after a group’s use.
- Arrange furniture as needed but return it to how you found it.
- Anyone using the library’s space may not charge admission.
- You must pay the City of West Branch’s public property vendor fees if you want to sell anything in the room.
- Use of flames, fog, and smoke are prohibited.
- Alcohol and alcohol use are prohibited on library property.

Study Room
Need somewhere private for one or a couple people? One of our storage rooms is also a study room, with collapsible table and chairs, and desk with patron accessible computer and computer chair. It's small and suitable for no more than 4 people, but ideal for solo study, teleconferences and webinars that require sound and/or speaking, one-on-one private meetings, etc. Come to the desk and ask to use the room, so we can unlock and customize it for you, and check availability!
You can book the room for a future time using the form below (forthcoming), available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rules for community room also apply to study room use (above).
