Document Actions

Not a Box

Pick up a box anytime after June 5th at the library. Take it home and transform it into anything that's "Not a Box" and return it to the library by June 30th. All entries will be displayed in the library and prizes will be awarded to all entries. A special prize will be given to the most creative entry.

Sheltered Reality Concert

Sheltered Reality will perform June 20th at 6:00p.m. as part of Hometown Days. The concert will take place at the Fire Dept. stage.

Be Creative with Music!

June 23rd at 6:30p.m. with ChildLife specialist Kristen Nelson.  Make your own musical instruments and play them in a band. 

Snack & Stories

Come to the library every Monday at 1:30 for Snack & Stories. Listen to a story followed by a short activity. Snacks will be provided, but please bring whatever you want to drink.
Movie

Thursday Theater

Join the library every Thursday at 1:30 for a movie. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own drink. Please contact or visit the library for the movie schedule.

Preschool Storytime

A story hour for preschoolers followed by a craft every Friday morning at 10a.m.

Be Creative with Nature!

Learn about nature with Cedar County naturalist, Reba Reddick, on June 30th at 6:30p.m.

Be Creative with Dance!

Have fun and learn to dance with Iowa Danceforce instructor, Judy Kilpatrick, on July 7th at 2:00p.m.

Be Creative with Technology!

On July 21st at 6:30p.m., learn how rockets work, create your own model rocket, and see it take off!
